Good morning everyone,

My name is Damon, I'm 25 years old and I live in France near Marseille. When I heard about an EverQuest server with 1999's content, I didn't hesitate for a second. I played EverQuest from 1999 to 2001 when I was 11... I never leveled beyond level 33 (at the time, I didn't know english language and I survived thanks to frenchies on Karana server :p)

In game, I created a wood elf ranger, I am level 17.
My crafts are Fletching and I think about starting Blacksmithing (I'm not sure yet)
I have a level 13 enchanter alt which I play occasionally.

I met several people from Europa guild and they advised me a lot, and that's what I loved, the mutual aid between players.

I would like to join your guild to be able to develop myself in game, be advised by experienced players, and above all have fun with Europa members.
Good luck with your apply :)

Bonne chance avec ta candidature :)

Welcome :)

Could you use the stickies to write the app? (Maybe Youhou can help?

Also, do you have a minimal level of english knowledge?

Yes I have some basic English, but I never studied English at school ... I learned to arache in video games ... like Everquest, Anarchy Online, Asheren's call ... in short the barbarian! ^ ^

That English translation is the product of Google Translate ;)

I am also French like many of us, but the guild does require that you're able to understand and communicate in English - we don't ask you to be bilingual but have basic knowledge.

Won't have any translation help in game and when I see a direct copy and paste from Google Translate, I am a bit concerned.

I don't want folks to think "that's ok I know so and so, he will be able to translate things for me" because you might end up in a group where nobody speaks your language and in raid, folks will be too busy to translate things for you if you don't understand the basic instructions from raid lead.

That's my 2 cents - just wanted to raise this concern. If you get this basic English comprehension sorted, then all good :)

I agree with Ophir. Unfortunatly (or not), you MUST have a good english level in order to understand raid leaders and participate in the guild.

Fortunately, we (french people) are usually connected on a TS, so we can help you with complicated strategies and we can brief you about others (for example, PoSky keys).

I hope you will do your best :)
