35 - SHM - Farfar (AUG 03)
35 - SHM - Farfar (AUG 03)
Character Details
Level 35 ogre shaman!
Why Europa?
I have been playing to and from on p99 now for about 2 months give or take, and have been enjoying the big dose of nostalgia, i have ran in to a few Europa members, and they have all been very friendly and helpful people.
I am mainly looking for a casual social invite to the guild, seeing as i am ( to and from ) quite casual!
Personality
Where to start of?! My name is Andreas, and i am 34 years old and currently residing in Birmingham/UK - I am however orignally from Sweden, but moved over here when i met my girlfriend ( Her being English an all ).
Most of my interests tend to be quite on the nerdy side and involve computers ( Gaming, tinkering and general nerdiness! ).
I also work within the IT-industry at the moment, and i did the same back in Sweden ( I used to work in the IT-dept of SMHI, any guilded Swede will know what that is! )
Experience
Lots and lots and lots of MMO expericence for me!
I played a fair bit of MUDs back before EQ1, a little bit of UO, and then finally got suckered into EQ1 after that!
I played a gnome warrior from Velious up until middle GoD.
I was guilded in The Circle of Eternity on the Veeshan server, although im guessing that server is more known for FoH and CD!
As most other people, i got drawn in by the shiney pretty pixels in WoW and played it quite extensively for a few years ( And its also how i met my gf ), with detours into games like Warhammer Online and a myriad of other MMOs!
History on P99
Not that much of a history to be frank, i played a necro up to 19, but tired of the playstyle, and found the Shaman more to my liking ( Given the fact that a shaman has the option of both soloing and grouping. )
Been working my way up to 35 to apply to Europa, an thats pretty much how it stands!
Playtime
Usually very early mornings when i get the extra time, and 18:00/19:00 onward in the evnings until way to late at night, for most weekdays and weekends!
Goals and motivation
Hopefully to join Europa ( if you will have me ) and play together with other European people within my timezone, playing on American times back on Live was horrible, and i did that for years!
Hopefully i can contribute help and assistance in any form needed whenever its needed, im not adverse to traveling halfway across Norrath to help a guildie or the guild out, my personal MMO philosophy has always been that the guild comes before the individual player, and in the end all the players will benefit anyhow!
Communication
I've spoken a bit with Makrill before, and he is quite a nice and knowledgable fella, who also adviced me that maybe i should apply for Europa when i reached the needed level!
I did however know of Europa prior to speaking with him, since Europa has the reputation of being _the_ European guild on the server!
Anyhow, thats all from me, feel free to ask me anything else if you need to in PM, or in game!
Cheers!
Farfar!

Actually, it's Swedish for "Grandpa"! My surname being Fetstryk, so my full name roughly translates to "Grandpa Asswhooper"Myrtiz wrote:God I hope your surname is "Away".
