Why Europa?
Me and my brother wish to join a guild playing in the same time zone as us for grouping, raiding and general community banter.
Personality
I'm a 27 year old male from sunny England! Day to day I work as a teacher in a secondary school. Previously I was a personal trainer and class instructor so i'm pretty into my fitness. Although i'm sure I do it so that I feel less guilty about crashing infront of my laptop for some quality MMO time, oh, and I'm about to become a dad for the first time on 25th Feb! We're having a boy (perhaps a potential recruit for the future?)
Experience
I played EQ from May 1999 - Lost Dungeons of Norrath/GoD (2003-2004) hence why my heart is and will always be classic. My knowledge of Everquest is generally very good however my mains were never really involved in much of the end game content, I did a handful of Fear and Hate raids but that was it.
Since then I played many MMO's/RPG's - Neverwinter Nights, DAoC, Warhammer DoW, Rising Force, but most notably WoW which I played for about 10 years. During this time I lead guilds and raids and was involved in a particular 10 man raiding team which was ranked 3rd on server at one point.
History on P99
I have a 40 Human Monk (Skepta) and a 51 Dark Elf Necro (Exiral) - Exiral was a member of Acyrid for 4-5 months about a year ago, but I was only a social member.
I play here on p99 with my brother (Shtumpy - Cleric) we have done for the passed 2-3 years on and off and now have got to the point where we decided to sell up everything on our mains and restart a couple of twinks. With the intention of playing them through till end game and experience some classic raiding.
Playtime
I'm able to play on evenings during the week. Usually from 4/5pm onwards. At weekends, Saturday nights and pretty much anytime sundays. These are general guidelines however as my play times can be pretty flexible.
Goals and Motivation
I'm a friendly guy with a passion for MMO's. The most fun I've ever had playing games has been because the experience was shared with friends. After 51 levels of duoing with my brother we are ready to find a great group of people to call friends and a great guild we can call home. Being a part of the minority that is "Non-US" players we came to the conclusion that Europa was the guild for us! We are both currently level 19 but intend to go all the way with the long term goal of raiding with you guys. We were speaking together about our intentions to join you last night and thought it would make more sense to join now why we are lowbies to get to know everyone and perhaps group up with some of you on our rise through the ranks.
Communication
Having played on the server for the past 3 years we have been aware of Europa for most of it. However after a recent 6 month break from EQ whilst we played other games we have decided to return full time and join you guys!........ well... that's the plan
