5 Character Details
As of 7 Oct 2014 my Wood Elf Bard is level 35.
5.1 Why Europa?
I would like to join Europa for two main reasons. First, because every Europa player I have met has been nice and friendly. Second, you guys play at the same time I usually play.
5.2 Personality
I'm originally from Georgia, U.S. I am in the US Air Force, currently stationed in Japan, but will be moving to Korea next month. I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, martial arts training, studying Japanese, and playing video games (mainly EQ).
5.3 Experience
I started playing EQ live on the Bristlebane server back in 2000 when I was just 11 years old. I stopped playing around 2004/2005 and went through pretty much every MMO out there. I went back to EQ live for about 1 1/2 years, had a 2box setup with a 95 Bard and 95 SK, but quit again in 2012. It was fun, but it just didn't have that EQ "feel" I wanted. I found P99 around March 2014, but didn't really get into playing until just a few months ago.
5.4 History on P99
I have a few alts in Knights Who Say Ni and Storm Watch, but besides my Bard, my highest character is level 20. I'm somewhat of an altoholic since I like so many different play styles.
5.5 Playtime
Since I'm getting prepared for my move, I play only about 2-3 days a week and each session is usually 1-3 hours. A lot of it depends on the baby and whether or not he wakes up from his nap. I am usually on anywhere between 8pm -11pm Japan time or 11am - 2pm Zulu time. Once I move to Korea I will play more often because my wife and son will stay in Japan. Since I will be there without my family, I will need to do something to keep me busy and help the time pass, so I expect I'll be playing nearly every day for about 4 hours a day after work.
5.6 Goals and motivation
I'm looking for people to have fun with while playing EQ. Due to the time difference, I'm usually soloing, which as a bard is great experience, but it does get boring after awhile. I enjoy the grouping and raiding aspect of MMOs more than the soloing side. As far as what I can contribute, I'd like to think I play the bard fairly well in groups and raids. I know I'm not the greatest at it, but I have spent a lot of time with trial and error to see what works and what doesn't work.
5.7 Communication
I saw people with the Europa tag running around since I started playing, but my first interaction with a person in Europa was a druid. Really nice guy though, he offered to take me to Lguk to get my DE mask. Unfortunately it didn't drop, but he stuck with me for over 2 hours down there.
