Some times fire up Spotify and go all 1980's new romantics on its ass.
AHHH ITS A GOTH!
PS: Like the Dungeon Master avatar, I always preferred Gothmog myself
Hang on a mo, neither Radio Head or The smiths are goth!!!
Proper goth is like the sisters/the mission, allabout eve, Eden house or BotB Fields of the Nephilim :

Just found this and I'm absolutely loving it!
Computer Magic - A Million Years
She is also a total babe so it's worth a watch even if this kind of music isn't your cup of tea.

I introduce to
"Luar na Lubre" , in case you didn't know them. Born in my city (A Coruña) in 1986 and still active.
They mainly play celtic music. Some very cheery songs, some slower.
Some may recognize
"O son do ar" which was composed by them and versioned by Mike Oldfield in his "Voyager" as
"The Song of the Sun" .
They've had 3 singers so far:
Rosa Cedrón: the best for me, she was part of the group since a bit after the beginning till 2005)
Sara Louraço Vidal: portuguese singer with a nice voice, but not close to the previous one in my opinion. Was part of the group since 2005 till 2012
Paula Rey Torreiro: Started in 2012. She was a friend's neighbour heh. Does pretty well, though I have to say I still prefer Rosa in some of the themes. ¡Come back, Rosa!
And if you want something more cheery:
"Pola ponte de San Xoán"
Hope you all like them!
