Racist isnt only the one who kills jews or wear nazis insignia on his clothes, racist is a person that kick a guy "knowing his enlgis limitation" and giving an argument like "you speak spanish in guildchat" Racist is the one whi kick a spanish for speaking spanish in /gu and dont kick others who speak french in the same chanel when it suppose to be an europeana guild and there is a common tongue to make all understand. Racist is the one who tells you how to use your things and who you can share.

English isnt my native language and sometimes i have a hard time to understand some words or expresions. With that in mind i am PISSED everytime i see someome type spanish french or whatever other language in guildchat.
It is rude to speak in a language that noone except you and some of your friends understands. I am Greek and with my real friend Tip we never speak greek in /gu or in groups.
PS. who was kicked ?

Hello everyone, I will answer in Spanish for one time.
Buenas Devora.

I am fluent in both english and french, having lived in the US for 6+ years and being french, and I also know some german and spanish (exwife)... and my fiance is Italian.
I remember once telling two guys to stop talking in english in front of me because I did not understand, and I thought it was rude of them. They told me something that I'll never forget and hold true today still; "learn"!
With that said, we use a common language that everyone is to understan d in EQ, aka English! Whenever a french player logs on I will greet him in French; "Salut Mecton!"="Sup dude". However I will never go through lengthy discussion with him in french, unless it is in /tell. Exception would be, just like it happened in Hate before christmas, 5 in group were native french speaker, just one was not. Well then I say tough luck for that guy.
BTW i think that telling someone to use a language that I can understand is rude. When I travel in spain, i don't expect people to use english, so i swallow my pride and try and keep up with the 132 words a minute!
Point i'm trying to make;
A; Tolerance
B; Don't be self centered
C; Respect.
And just like Ali G would say; "Keep it Real"

I think a greater lack of respect is seeing a situation and don't bother to try, not for a minute, to really *understand* what brought to that point but just giving the simpliest explanation just to get the chance to pull some shit on other people.
And this is what i see here.
I'm sorry you really feel that way. I don't think you have any gain to twist the reality to your own advantage, so i just think you've been a bit lazy and didn't tried to go deeper.
People in Europa *ARE NOT* racists.
And this is a point proven so many time that's useless to talk about.
So, whatever happens, cannot be pointed out as "racism" only because is just so simple to reason your point with a word that makes people unconfortable with themselves (and guilty).
First of all (of your misunderstanding) you say more than one time "kicked", but this is not the case.
Why people forgets all the time the meaning for the word "trial" ? Why everyone thinks it's enough to apply for a guild to be taken in ? And when this not happens, the fault is always of the "jerkness" of the guildmembers ?
I don't have _anything_ against Crome, and he could be the coolest person in the world. I just don't thikn he would fit good in Europa. And not because i have some false preconceptions (those leads to "racism") but because i saw his behaviors (or lacking of those) during the trial period (and his "no intendo na" message is a perfect example).
I don't want to be harsh ... i've just had enough of this "i force the reality to my own interests"
In an all different matter .... i'm Italian. I've no problem with english, more than survavibilit y level with french and, being similar, i understand some spanish.
I, personally, have absolutely no problem when someone talk in /gu in another language (this is my personal opinion .. and could be greek or swedish too) ... those are always been few lines in my experiences, and it was just a easiest way to send a message to all "my native language" people.
In fact, i would love to learn something new trhough that.

My only experience of Crome was getting trained by him repeatedly in KC. I had my reservations already due to that, and Judging by this reaction it seems we were right to kick him.
Last time I heard, Spanish wasn't a race. Calling people 'racists' just because you don't like their decision is about as low as it gets... It devalues the word when there is so much real racism in the world.
Good riddance.
