Desktop environment running from SD card
- you can not hear it running (zero noise)
- power consumption < 4 Watts

Careful with the SSD ...
Taking too many logs could be deadly for that poor little Drive :p

SSD? I wish! It's an SD-card, 8 GB.
That Pi is never running EQ

I'm running Rapsberry PI at home as media server with XBMC OS, works like a charm.
