Hello there,

I am missing eq so much. Would love to play p99 but want to know a little more about how it's doing population wise and how Europas roster looks as I'll be raiding EU.

Please could someone give me the low down? I'm hoping over the last few years maybe p99 has become more popular with the oldschoolers?

Note I am adept as Druid, warrior, ranger, monk and cleric. Out of these which is the most sought after?

Hi EU times are pretty good at nights its around 700people on(not as much as US primetime but enough to find groups etc.)
Europa's roster is going strong,i have not raided in a while but i think we have 50ish people in most raids which we do 2-3times a week plus dragon kills.

With Velious around the corner i would roll a cleric,they are always needed or warrior,the server is stacked with monks and i wont mention druid or ranger without laughing

Oldschool player myself and started over a year ago and have not looked back,hate modern MMO's.

As Gummab says, server is going very strong indeed,

With Velious in mind, as Gummy says, Warrior or Cleric will be very needed, but I'd like to throw ranger in there as well - we only have a few rangers in the guild, and as we get more and more competitive in the raiding scene we could use more rangers as well - so whichever of the 3 you prefer to play

Nothing wrong with druids btw! - Again, P99 is about the experience, not min-maxing, so pick what you prefer to play the most

Boxing is very strictly NOT allowed, and if they find out (and they will) you will be banned - so for your own sake, don't try

Tricky. I remember cleric being quite hard to solo level with and am wary that groups are likely to be rare.

nope. every one got 1-n alts so if you choose the right spots, you ll get some groups.

Bakalao route for p99 is:

lvl 1-6 newbie zone

lvl 7-15: EC, NRO, Oasis, Crushbone etc.

15-22: Unrest has lot ot groups going on, Upper guk not so crowed but you might get lucky.

22-35: Castle Mistmoore has lot of groups going on CEST Evening.

Then CoM, Karnor Castle, Sebilis.

Cleric, Bard or Rogue would be more than welcome in Velious imho.
