Double Application : Level 1 we_don't_know_yet

Post by Cravache »

Greetings everyone.

My brother are I are two very old EQ players. We played a bit on The Tribunal when EQ we release but switched to Vazaelle for good when the server came out.

We were Elindra and Papi from Caer Cadarn on Vazaelle for 5 years. We left Everquest shortly after we slain Quarm and came back a couple of month ago.

We both fell in love with Everquest instantly again but we really were out of the deal. Live EQ is still EQ but a lot of what we disliked in other MMOs (fast travel, 0 danger zones, instances, jack of all trade classes... the list too long) is in there now too.

Anyways. We are looking for a European guild (we are french-Spanish and live in Germany) with active player to level up and eventually raid later.

I know you only recruit after level 20 but I'd also like to ask you what classes you think are lacking for the European community on p99. Our ideas were cleric/warrior or enchanter/druid. A lot of people will say "just play what you like", but we like all classes (but knights/rangers).

Thanks a lot, have a good day :)

Hello and welcome to our forums,

My advise is that you play the class that you enjoy the most. But well, having extra warriors, bards, clerics or rogues is cool ;)

Anyway that's a tad bad sentence. No class is useless.

No class is useless. Its just that bards are so powerful on live its hard to see "how they were". I played bard and had the feeling I was VERY useful, but only on very specific (and rare) situation.

Anyways, I think we are going for rogue+druid. Probably not the best duo but it "can" work a bit and it seems a good complement to whoever is looking for "more". The best would have been able to go for Wizard+Rogue but we'll be ridiculously unable to duo :)

Rogue and Druid is one of the very best levelling duos around. Just make the druid snare again and again (+ some flame licks here and there) to keep agro, and let the rogue Backstab. Rinse and repeat.

Welcome/Bienvenidos

We'll if you guys are looking for a good duo team that does not require a lot of money/gear to get started, I would recommend cleric/enchanter combo. Another good combo would be a knight class (pally/shadow knight) and shaman. However, if you interested in playing classes we are in high demand, I would say we have a very high need for bards and wizards. Again, welcome to P99 and may all your adventures be grand!
