I don't want my dkp wiped as I worked hard for it and want to return on a casual basis

I hope the thread on Europa's history and spirit will be kept in mind during these discussions... or will it be more of a witch hunt for anyone who decides to take a break?

If this is to do with nobody spending their dkp, it doesnt seem fair to point the finger at people on a break as some kind of solution to that...imo anyway. I think more the issue was on day 1 of the dkp being implemented we werent all on zero and raiding attendance dating back 12-18 months before it was factored in.

I didnt even want a dkp system in the beginning, and now changes taking place might rob me of my hard work. One thing for sure if people on a break are returned to zero, you'll find many quiet breaks out of fear it could happen to them, which wont necessarily be good for raid planning or attendance

This change would push us a step towards the Rampage/Forsaken style of raid management and doesnt cater to the casual nature of Europa. Please think carefully and discuss it at length before pulling the trigger....not just for me, but anyone else who's currently on a break or returning.

Well said my old friend. For some one like me, and the profession that I have, I'm bound to have an extended AFK. However, i think the time of the "old guard" is slowly coming to an end. Its becoming more apparent that in order to meet the challenges of Velious, we need consistent players, but more importantly, we need ALOT of players. No way around it...numbers matter.

Change is often something people don't like. However, when you think about it, change is the only true constant in the world. Embrace it my friend.

I'm not hardcore enough to pretend I can start from zero and not risk losing it a second time as I've got some big RL changes next year

The discussion specifically is people who leave the guild, then come back. Cause suddenly its happening a lot. Not necessarily people who are casual/dont raid.

If its worth mentioning I never applied to another guild here or had any intention of joining one - just fancied a change of server to try the pvp ruleset (which is fun, everyone should try it sometime).

If people are informed before they leave then they can seal their own fate... I feel like this is like committing a new crime before it became a crime :/

I tried to keep contributing with help/advice/etc after I started on red but my access was taken away.

Anyway, up until that point I just had afk status.

Yes I did, but for Tyla at least I've still got my epic, my planar gear and most other slots covered...would just need a CSS or some other 1:2 offhand (9/18, 11/22 etc) to get cracking again...and necros don't need items to win

Also this might be worth mentioning. I did deguild Waggs to have some fun handing out some items under the <Make A Swish Foundation> banner but unless someone has done it since I don't recall deguilding Tyla, Seryna or most others. I suppose a GM could confirm that if it came to it
